Reid Milanovich Accepts Role as Tribal Chairman of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians

This is news that Harold is particularly moved to share. Reid Milanovich has been elected as the Tribal Chairman of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. This role was long-held by Reid’s father and dear friend to Harold, Richard Milanovich. Harold Matzner told The Desert Sun that the news of the younger Milanovich now leading the tribe brings tears to his eyes. “I know his dad would be very proud,” Matzner said. “Reid will be outstanding as chairman of the tribe.”

Reid is replacing Jeff Grubbe, who held the title for 5 consecutive two year terms following the passing of the senior Milanovich in 2012, who held the role for almost 30 years. “The tribe is in solid, capable hands,” Grubbe said. “I move into this new chapter of my life knowing that the tribe will continue to do great things for our members and the Coachella Valley.”

Congratulations to Reid!
