Spike Lee to Receive Palm Springs Festival Career Achievement Award

Spike Lee has been an outstanding warrior for equal rights while creating an iconic body of film and television work over his 30-year career,” says Palm Springs International Film Festival Chairman, Harold Matzner.

Lee will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for directing BlacKkKlansman and joins the likes of Annette Bening, Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman, who have also won the award. The award will officially be given to him on January at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
