All Palm Springs International Film Awards Honorees Receive Academy Award Nominations
All 11 honorees recognized at the Palm Springs International Film Awards on January 4 received Academy Award nominations. In addition, three of the event presenters received nominations.
“Once again, the Palm Springs International Film Awards recognizes the best cinematic achievements of the year, those actors and filmmakers who go on to receive Academy Award nominations,” said Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi. “Today’s announcement was very exciting for us, and we congratulate all 11 of the Film Award honorees who went on to receive recognition from the Academy. I am very proud to be the Chairman of this organization and looking forward to watching the Oscars in March.”

The Palm Springs International Film Awards took place on January 4, 2024, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with the Festival running through January 15, 2024. The Film Awards was sponsored by Entertainment Tonight and IHG Hotels & Resorts. The Palm Springs International Film Festival screened 184 films from over 70 countries, including 48 premieres and 41 of the International Feature Film Oscar® Submissions.
