The Palm Springs International Film Awards Announce Multiyear Sponsorship with Kering

The Palm Springs International Film Awards has announced a new multiyear sponsorship with Kering, the parent company of fashion houses Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato and more. Kering will serve as a Presenting Sponsor for the Awards. Additionally, Kering’s Women in Motion series will host two Talking Pictures sessions. Women In Motion presents talks and podcasts that spotlight the many contributions of women in cinema across numerous film festivals.

Kering’s Women in Motion series hosted two Talking Pictures at this past year’s Film Festival. One Talking Picture featured Angelina Jolie for Maria and the other hosted director Jacques Audiard and actors Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez, and Edgar Ramírez for Emilia Pérez.

Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi said, “Kering is more than a global leader in luxury— it’s a force for cultural change. Their commitment to artistic innovation and amplifying diverse voices aligns perfectly with our mission. This partnership celebrates the power of storytelling and the global impact of film.”

Kering’s Chief Brand Officer Laurent Claquin added, “In honor of its 10th anniversary, Women In Motion made its debut at the festival this year with two powerful conversations — one with the cast of  Emilia Pérez, and another with Angelina Jolie. Through this initiative, we not only recognize women’s contributions to culture, but also create a space to amplify their voices, spark dialogue and inspire future generations.”

The Palm Springs International Film Festival will run January 2-12, 2026, with the Awards Gala on Saturday, January 3rd. Passes go on sale August 1.
